GoT Season 7 Has Been Delayed And It Hurts Worse Than Any Character Death
This news'll make you want to pull a Tommen.
If you still haven't recovered the from the stupefying finale of Season 6 you may want to brace yourself.
Winter is finally here and it's brought with it some terrible news.
Yesterday, a raven flew from the UFC Unfiltered Podcast where GoT showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss broke the worst news since the death of Ned Stark.
*deep breath*
Game of Thrones Season 7 has been delayed.
Hearing the news, at first we didn't think it was possible.

It felt like we'd been stabbed repeatedly in the gut.

Or betrayed by those we trusted most.

We sobbed like someone had killed our own father, right in front of our eyes.

And cried out: "ISN'T THERE ANY GOODNESS LEFT IN THE WORLD?!???!!!?"

Fortunately, by the grace of The Mother, the two showrunners did offer some explanation for the delay.
Said Benioff and Weiss: "We're starting a bit later because at the end of this season. Winter is here, and that means that sunny weather doesn't really serve our purposes anymore. So, we kind of pushed everything down the line, so we could get some grim grey weather even in the sunnier places that we shoot."
An air date has not been set, but you can bet we certainly won't be watching Dany cross the Narrow Sea come April of 2017.
Be strong Thrones fans. Together, we will make it through the winter.
