This Homemade LOTR Monopoly Board Is Definitely Your New 'Precious'
We wants it, we needs it!
Monopoly is known for its myriad of special themed editions from Pokemon and America's National Parks to The Beatles. And while this includes a LOTR version, this graphic design student made her own unique version instead.
Croatian native Sonja Batušic created this unique version of LOTR Monopoly because she was displeased with the authenticity of the commercial version.
"Since I’m a big fan of the “Lord of the Rings”, I wanted to be immersed in the story," Sonja explained.
She chose locations all over Middle Earth and designed the board herself in Adobe Illustrator.
And she even printed intricately designed currency and cards to accompany her board.
Sonja said the project took her about 2 weeks to complete, and she is very happy with her "precious"
