John Legend's New TV Show Is The Slavery Story Never Told In School
There's lots of good TV in 2016, and one show we can't get out of our heads is WGN America's "Underground," the show everyone is talking about. It's a show that leaves you feeling educated, intrigued and entertained.
In case you haven't heard, John Legend, Grammy-winning singer/songwriter, is the executive producer of WGN America's new drama series, "Underground."

"Underground" is a period drama following a group of slaves plotting a 600-mile escape from a Georgia plantation through the Underground Railroad.

This isn't just another tale about the horrifying and gruesome realities of slavery, though. It's instead, an empowering story of a heroic escape to freedom. And it looks awesome.

Between heart racing action...

And the incredible music...

It's a show you won't want to miss.
