If there's a dog that deserves its own personal elevator, it's a Corgi.

Couple Judy Pratt and Nicky Duenkel just finished building the house of their dreams in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and it's the most adorable little domicile you ever did see.

“I’m retired and Nicky was working 60 to 80 hours a week and we just looked at one another and said, ‘Is this the life we want to be living?’” Pratt shared with CBC News.
Eventually, the two decided a downsize was in order so they could not only cut back their hours, but save on living expenses too.
So Pratt and Duenkel had this quaint little bungalow built - a 175 square foot miniature home, with a full kitchen and cozy lofted bed just above it.

The house also has a small living room, a full bathroom, and a second loft for guests.
But in order to accommodate their beloved corgi, Shanti, who can't climb the stairs due to his chronic back pain, they knew they needed to make an innovative adjustment.
Fortunately, they were able to enlist the help of expert Matthew Wilcox of Howling Dog Construction, who came up with an absolutely brilliant idea: a "doggie elevator."

After looking for design inspiration on the internet and failing to find any, Wilcox decided to make it all from scratch.
And what he came up with was pure, adorable, dog-elevating genius.

"Sorry it took me so long. Traffic was horrible."
