A Superhighway From New York To London Is Being Proposed... Here's The Details
A "Trans-Eurasian Belt Development" i.e. superhighway was officially proposed by Russian Railways head Vladimir Yakunin last spring. He officially left his position this August, so it's hard to know where things stand with the project, but we do know what it would entail if it moved forward, namely trillions of dollars.

Much of the newly created roadways would follow along the Trans-Siberian Railway, according to CNN.

And, with Yakunin having moved on from his job, things may be on hold for awhile with this innovative idea. The plan would include a brand-new train network and oil and gas pipelines. Time will tell if this project gets picked up and family road trips start going from the east coast of the United States to London.Â

They're a more sane person than we can imagine.
