More and more, we're seeing artists use food as a medium. And with all of the food's various colors and textures, it really shouldn't come as much of a surprise.
Among some of the more unique food artists that have emerged recently is Romanian artist, Ioana Vanc. Using a multitude of different foods like eggplant, pears, bread, and radishes, she intricately cuts pieces of each to make distinctly tiny creations. In fact, they're so small, she uses a teaspoon as her backdrop.
The intricacy of each piece she cuts is incredible...
Her little works are so small, they fit on a teaspoon.
And as you can imagine, they require a very steady hand.
Most of Ioana's work is animal-inspired...
But occasionally she'll mix things up and do a fun pop-culture figure or cartoon character.
And as you can see, they're equally as awesome, if not even more so. Check out her page to see more of her unique food creations!
