Warning: If You've Updated To iOS 9, You May Want To Turn Off This Feature

Dear Apple, this is not how you win people over.
As many iPhone users already know, Apple's iOS 9 was recently released. But what many are also finding out is that one of its new features inadvertently costs them a ridiculous amount of money.

"Wi-Fi Assist," which is programed to stay on by default, will automatically switch you to 4G if it detects the WiFi you're connected to is too slow. And if you're on a fairly limited data plan, that's bad news. Really, really bad.
Here's how to avoid the absurd charges:
1. Go to Settings on your phone:

2. Select the "Cellular" section:

3. Then, simply turn off Wi-Fi assist.

It may keep you from being unfairly charged an arm and a leg for simply surfing the web too much. You're welcome.
As for you Apple, shame on you. Did you think people wouldn't notice being charged $800 additional dollars on their monthly bill?
