This lion was in a performing circus for 13 years and confined to a cramped cage for most of that time. The video below shows the lion and his interaction with grass for the first time. It is absolutely heartwarming.Â
This footage of the lion was filmed in 2006 but wasn't released until very recently. It really does make you never want to support a circus or any kind of show that uses in animals in an unnatural way.Â
Animals should be allowed to live freely and happily.
After all the uproar about Cecil the lion and now seeing footage of this animal, hopefully people will start to care a little more about preserving wildlife.Â
