1. If you're on a time crunch, let your waiter know.

If you plan to eat slowly and chat, let your server know. If you're planning to catch a movie, your server can help you with that too. 

2. Take your seat when your table is available.

Don't congregate with your party at the door. This gets in the way of servers as they're trying to prep and serve other tables.

3. If there are a lot of people in your party, help the server get the groups attention so they don't have to yell.

4. Don't rearrange tables without asking first.

Always ask if you need more seats or another table. You might be messing up sections or moving a reserved table.

5. Don't play musical chairs.

Once you're in your seat, stay there. Each seat has a umber that corresponds with your order. Moving with totally mess that up.

6. Ask for any condiments or sauces when you place your order.

If you don't, you'll have to wait even longer to eat and your waitress will end up making more than one trip.

7. Don't blame them for things they go wrong.

Your server didn't cook your food or make your drinks. They can any mistakes fixed for you, if you're kind to them.

8. Remember your servers name and use it.

They'll appreciate it and it'll be a lot easier to flag them down, if you need something.

9. If your server does a good job, tell their manager.
10. Then ask to sit in their section the next time you visit the restaurant.
