When you think of heavily tattooed men, do you think of adorable rescue dogs along with them?Â

Maybe now you will.Â

Brian Batista is an Alabama-based photographer who orchestrated this absolutely phenomenal photo project.

The project is called "Tattoos and Rescues" and it shows photos of people with lots of ink, all of whom own dogs that they've rescued.

The photographs really break down the stereotypes associated both with the people in the photos, as well as the rescue pups.

People don't have to be clean, cookie-cutter beings and dogs don't have to be purchased from an extravagant breeder to be lovely and adorable.

The only problem with this series is if you're trying to save money, because after these photos you're going to want a dog AND a new tattoo!
