The 66th Annual Sapporo Snow Festival in Japan just had a very "forceful" addition to the festival this year: An enormous, and very elaborate, sculpture devoted to the Star Wars franchise.
This sculpture required a grand total of 3,500 tons of snow to make it.

The sculpture was made by some VERY passionate Star Wars fans within the 11th Brigade of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force.

Naturally, the group made sure to run it by LucasFilms before the festival, and got the approval.

Whether or not you're a Star Wars fan, anyone can appreciate how awesome this snow sculpture is!
