These High Speed Pictures Are Unbelievable. Water + Metal + Ink = Pure Awesome

In his series called "Heavy Metals," Italian artist Alberto Seveso captures fluids and substances - such as ink and liquid metal - permeating in water at incredibly high speed and definition. The results are mesmerizing.

Without knowing what the images actually are, it's hard to form anything more than a vague guess. And that's probably, in large part, due to the fact that we've never seen anything like it.
