Steve and Jery Wakefield decided they wanted to build an epic treehouse for their grandchildren in their Dallas backyard. They hired an architect, James Curvan, to build the treehouse, and as the kids got older, continued to expand the tree house with more additions like a zipline and a rope bridge.
Instead of the just having a ladder like normal, Curvan built a staircase with four landings.

The house includes a suspension bridge that connects to a floating crows nest.

There is even kid sized patio furniture on the patio of the house.

The house even has working lights inside, so the kids can enjoy even in the evening.

There is even a zipline that takes kids from the tree house to the yard. Unfortunately, the weight limit is only 100 pounds, so definitely for kids only.

The treehouse even includes a kitchen with a small fridge to keep juice cold.

A friendly reminder sits above the back door for anytime adults come into the tree house.

On the main level, all the windows are made of plexiglass to stay safe. Curvan gave them an etched-glass look to match the glass in other parts of the house.
