1. Alex From Target

This meme became viral almost instantly after a Twitter user posted a photo of "Alex from Target."
2. Ridiculously Photogenic Guy

Zeddie Watkins Little was running the 2012 Cooper River Bridge Run when this photo was taken. The photo became popular on Reddit soon after.
3. Baby Godfather

This photo was taken at a wedding in 2010. Redditor "timekeepsgoing" posted the photo on Reddit, asking people to photoshop his child into different scenes of The Godfather.
4. Success Kid

This little guy was holding sand in his hand when his mother snapped this photo. The meme became so successful, Virgin Media purchased the rights to use the image on a billboard.

5. College Freshman

College freshman Griffin Kiritsy agreed to do an interview with Reader's Digest, which included this photoshoot. It appeared in a few other articles until it blew up on Reddit.
6. Senior Freshman

Nola Ochs isn't only a meme, she also a world record holder. She graduated from Fort Hays State University at the age of 95. She even got her masters three years later.
7. Hipster Barista

Dustin Mattson is actually an amazing barista, placing in both regional and national barista competitions. He's not quite a fan of his internet stardom, saying it doesn't match up to the work his coworkers and himself do.

Jimmy McMillan ran for governor of New York in 2010 on the platform that the rent was too damn high. He didn't succeed.
9. Suburban Mom

This mom is actually author Carly Phillips. Her author photo was used on Reddit. In real life, she's not like those other moms. She's a cool mom.
10. Sheltered College Freshman

Kerin Portillo was featured in a series of iStockphoto images which portrayed students at a library. She says the meme gave her more modeling opportunities in stock photo images.
