These are some of the best homes on the market - but they're not for humans! See which animals are the architects behind these masterpieces.
1. Sociable Weaver

These birds build gigantic permanent communal nests - sometimes with the capacity to house hundreds of birds. They're natives of Southern Africa.
2. Red Ovenbird

The Red Ovenbird builds permanent nests out of mud and clay. These habitats do a great job of protecting them, and can even house other birds when the Red Ovenbird decides to leave.
3. Montezuma Oropendola

Montezuma Oropendolas build their nests out of small vines and grass. They live in colonies of about 30 birds, leading to trees looking like this.
4. Vogelkop Bowerbird

The Vogelkep Bowerbird is like the interior designer of the animal kingdom, rearranging berries, flowers, and beetles to make their homes more attractive to mates.
5. Compass Termite

Compass termites build their homes facing north and south, giving the species their name. The large habitats are shaped like a wedge.
6. Swallow

Swallows will build their nests out of whatever they can find... And sometimes they even find already made ones!
7. Caddisfly

The caddisfly's habitat is its cocoon, made out of pebbles, sand, and shells.
8. Baya Weaver

These intricate nests are built where predators have a difficult time reaching them - above water, and in palm and acacia trees.
9. Australian Weaver Ants

Weaver ants are some of the craftiest insects. They bring together leaves and use larval silk to hold them together. It takes a team to build them, of course.
10. Honeybees

The honeybees' nest, which is made from wax, is their livelihood. They process their food and raise their young there.
11. Beavers

Beavers dam are the palaces of the animal kingdom. The critters build their dams to flood the surrounding area, and then build entrances underwater to avoid predators.
