We all know dolphins are smart and friendly creatures.
But there's another side to them that's only recently been discovered.
When filming his miniseries, "Dolphins: Spy in the Pod," John Downer noticed something peculiar.

He observed dolphins chewing on pufferfish, and then passing it to another dolphin.
It turns out, the dolphins were getting high on pufferfish toxins!
After chewing on it, the dolphins looked very tranquil and dazed.
So there you have it! I guess dolphins are even more like humans than we thought.
