Benjamin Von Wong is a montreal-based photographer and director. He is well-known for his extremely difficult photo shoots and this particular one is no exception. Von Wong has an incredible outlook on the art of photography. Not only is his work amazing but his passion for what he creates and how he creates it is what makes him truly a one-of-a-kind director.
"I have learned over time that the people you want to work with to achieve the best results, are not the most qualified professionals...but it is the people that have the most passion and that really really want to be involved, if you work with individuals who are as passionate about success, then you can't fail. You can only succeed."
This underwater photo series was filmed off the coast of Bali at an abandoned underwater shipwreck.

Von Mong took a creative risk and instead of just digitally shooting the series he actually photographed underwater and on site.

Von Mong had a team of 2 models who were also already trained divers and 7 additional supporting divers.

They filmed 25 meters below surface level and he had to be given special permission to film at the shipwrecked site.

This is a short video documenting the photo shoot by Benjamin Von Wong. It gives you an inside look on the photo shoot and how Von Wong created it.
